Traffic
Estimation - Revenues
This method allows for estimation of
domestic traffic (urban and interurban) based on revenue data that should be
extracted from the accounting.
The following technical data must be
entered:
- Annual
international outgoing traffic in minutes;
- Annual
national outgoing traffic in minutes;
- Percentage
of urban traffic in the domestic traffic;
- Percentage
of international traffic at normal price;
- Percentage
of domestic traffic at normal price.
The following commercial data is then to
be entered:
- Turnover
billed to local customers;
- Average
price for 1 minute of international communication (including subregional) at normal and reduced price. If these
amounts are not known, a tool allowing for computation thereof is available by
pressing the “Average Int'l Prices” button;
- Average
price for 1 minute of urban communication at normal and reduced price;
- Average
price for 1 minute of interurban communication at normal and reduced price;
- Average
price for 1 minute of communication with the other local operators, at
normal and reduced price.
Since this method only allows for
computation of domestic traffic, the other missing traffic values must be entered manually
after the method has been validated.
